Władze naszej uczelni oraz społeczność akademicka Uczelni Korczaka w Warszawie z wielkim smutkiem i zaskoczeniem przyjęły informację o nagłej śmierci łotewskiej profesor Velty Lubkiny z Rezekne Academy of Technologies oraz Riga Technical University na Lotwie. Profesor Lubkina od ponad 10 lat współpracowała z naszą uczelnią przy wielu projektach badawczych, edukacyjnych i międzynarodowych. Jako dyrektor wydziałów edukacyjnych na łotewskich uczelniach nie tylko była regularnym gościem na naszej uczelni, ale realizowała z naszymi pracownikami innowacyjne projekty edukacyjne jak choćby dotyczące bezpieczeństwa dzieci i dorosłych w elektronicznej netosferze, zastosowania nowych technologii w edukacji i komunikacji z młodzieżą, inkluzywnego traktowania rodzin z dziećmi niepełnosprawnymi czy zastosowania e-learningowej platformy w podnoszeniu kompetencji i pedagogice. Profesor V. Lubkina była również współautorem publikacji z naszymi pracownikami naukowymi, wielokrotnie występowała z wystąpieniami i wykładami na naszej uczelni, jej ostatni wykład dla naszej uczelni miał miejsce tak niedawno, bo 10 grudnia 2024 roku, poświęcony tematowi: „Innovative educational formats for the improvement of pedagogical competences in the digital age”.
W dniu jej ziemskiego, ostatniego pożegnania łączymy się z rodziną pani profesor oraz jej najbliższymi współpracownikami, a także społecznościami łotewskich uczelni, które pogrążyły się w żałobie po tej znaczącej dla nich stracie. Pani Profesor Velta Lubkina zawsze pozostanie w naszej pamięci!
The authorities of our university and the academic community of Korczak University – Academy of Applied Sciences in Warsaw received the news of the sudden death of Latvian professor Velta Lubkina from Rezekne Academy of Technologies and Riga Technical University in Latvia with great sadness and surprise. Professor Lubkina has been cooperating with our university on many research, educational and international projects for over 10 years. As the director of educational departments at Latvian universities, she was not only a regular guest at our university, but she also implemented innovative educational projects with our employees, such as those concerning the safety of children and adults in the electronic netospher, the use of new technologies applied into education and communication with young people, the inclusive treatment of families having children with disbilities or the use of an e-learning platform in improving competences and pedagogy. Professor V. Lubkina also co-authored publications with our academic staff, gave numerous speeches and lectures at our university, and her last lecture for our university took place not that long ago, on December 10, 2024, devoted to the topic: „Innovative educational formats for the improvement of pedagogical competences in the digital age”.
On the day of her earthly, final farewell, we join the family of the professor and her closest colleagues, as well as the communities of Latvian universities, which are in mourning after this significant loss for them. Professor Velta Lubkina will always remain in our memory!
